Introduction: journey of an object was a case study awareness project. It made us understand design in the context of an object. It made us understand inquiry in a deeper manner.
PART 1: context and design situations
An object portrays a lot of things for its users. For example, my product was a baby’s tongue cleaner and toothbrush.
As it was meant for infants of 6 months to 2 years, to make it easier for the parents to use it on them, its functional aspects were influenced in that sense, it was made small, very easy use and to make more convenient to operate it was made it in a way that one’s finger will be the means to operate it.
And as it was made for kids it has to be gentle and soft to touch so its emotional aspects influenced its material so it was made with silicone.

PART 2: reflecting on methods of inquiry
In this project we got to know about inquiry a bit more.
primary method of inquiry used: interview from two users to know about their experience with the product, in a semi structured interview.
secondary method of inquiry used: web research was used for almost every task in the project but to name one would be, research for the timeline.
these two could have been used in different situations
