So we were taught about perceptive and perception are so different
perspective is the point of view, its concrete
perception is assuming or imagining stuff in your own way, its abstract
For our first class of think lab we were taught the concept of perception i.e perceiving things in different ways which is very important for creative thinking. so for the brief we were given a trapezium.
we divided the shape to see how many shapes can be created.
For the first activity we were divided into groups randomly to learn team work and so we were given a shape and so we had to perceve it in different objects found around us and we had to identify different shapes by dividing the shape itself. so we so made the whole slide with others contribution into it.
For the next activity we were supposed to do the same thing but with a letter and we got the letter 'H'.
REFELCTION
With these activities the reflection I drew was that we always have to be aware of our surroundings and notice small bits to make our creative thinking sharper.
The most important think out of the box. We always have to perceive things in a unique way.
I got to know a lot of things are just around us and we don't even notice. I feel because of a class like think lab my creative thinking abilities will actually develop a lot because of these thought provoking activities. After experiencing team work I have observed that transparency among everyone in the group working is really important but in all the group experience was smooth. Sometimes there is a problem in understanding but that can be overcome by cooperation, which is what we need to work on and talking it out right away with full transparency would be the solution for the same.
MANTRA FOR MOTIVATION
Keep going an it would happen....
