On day 6 we were introduced to thinking tools, used to know about the design. We were introduced the method called slice and dice it is basically breaking down one thing into small different aspects to know more about it and analysis it easily, its divided into functional, emotion, process, social attributes and descriptive.
Warm up: For the warm up we were given a pencil and we had to analysis it using the slice and dice tool and so we noted a lot of aspects like thin, long etc
Project work: we were introduced to another thinking tool which is SCAMPER that stands for Substitute Combine Adapt Modify Put to another use Eliminate Reverse , this tool helps to have creative ideas to create something
So for the the project we had to individually choose an object and we had to come up with something new with it by using SCAMPER.

REFLECTION
this activity was the most thought provoking for me and as it was an individual activity the only source of ideas was me and I actually felt like I got a gist of being an independent designer and how it is like brainstorming to have an innovation
